Something

doesn't quite make sense to you.

The way you relate to yourself. What you want, and why it feels so hard to reach. The gap between who you are in a relationship and who you want to be. You don't need to be in crisis to explore this. You just need to be ready to look.

Who this is for

You're not broken.
You're carrying something that was never named.

People come to individual therapy for all kinds of reasons. Here are some of the most common ones I work with.

Self-perception

You know yourself well enough to know something isn't working.

The way you see yourself in intimate contexts doesn't match who you know yourself to be elsewhere. That gap has a name — and it can change.

Desire & intimacy

You want something — but you're not sure what, or why it feels so complicated.

Desire isn't just about sex. It's about what you allow yourself to want, what you believe you deserve, and what you've learned to shut down.

Coming alone — from a couple

Your partner won't come. So you're starting here — alone, and that's a real act of courage.

What you understand about your own part in the dynamic almost always shifts something — even without both partners in the room.

Sexual difficulty

You've been carrying this quietly — and you want to understand what's actually happening.

Whether it's premature ejaculation, low desire, pain, or avoidance — the pattern has a mechanism. Understanding it changes the relationship you have with your own body.

After a relationship ends

The relationship is over — but the patterns it revealed are still here.

Breakups and separations don't just hurt — they expose things. What you keep repeating. What you keep choosing. What you keep avoiding.

Unequal load — solo version

You're exhausted, resentful, and you don't know how to want anything for yourself anymore.

When you carry everything, desire and self-perception collapse. Not as a character flaw — as a nervous system response. There's a way back.

"Understanding what's happening in your body changes what you believe is possible for yourself."

What shifts

Not just insight.
A different relationship with yourself.

The goal isn't to understand why you are the way you are. It's to change what that means for how you live.

01

You understand the mechanism, not just the symptom

Why your desire works the way it does. Why certain patterns repeat. Why the body responds the way it does in intimate situations.

02

You stop interpreting yourself against you

Shame is a story about what you are. Therapy replaces it with something more accurate — and more workable.

03

You have language for what was wordless

Naming what's happening — accurately — is the beginning of being able to change it, communicate it, or simply stop fighting it.

04

Your body stops being the problem

The nervous system responds to what it has learned. When you change what it knows, the response changes too. This is trainable — not permanent.

How I work

Body-aware. Evidence-informed.
Clinically direct.

My work draws on approaches that take the body seriously, because self-perception and desire are never just cognitive.

Sexo-Corporelle

A body-based approach to sexual and relational health. The nervous system is always part of the picture, and always part of the solution.

Crucible Sex Therapy

Dr. David Schnarch's framework for differentiation, working with desire, self-worth, and intimacy as expressions of who you are becoming.

Relational Therapy

How you relate to others is inseparable from how you relate to yourself. We work both directions simultaneously.

Nervous system regulation

Shame, avoidance, and disconnection are not character flaws, they are learned nervous system responses. They can be unlearned.

I work with people who are tired of carrying something they can't quite name.

My approach is direct. I name what I observe, offer frameworks that make the mechanism visible, and build with you toward something concrete. Insight is a starting point — not the destination.

I'm bilingual, dually regulated in both Quebec (OPSQ) and Ontario (CRPO), and all sessions are virtual.

Questions

What people ask before they book.

Do I need a specific diagnosis or problem to start?
No. Many people come because something feels off — without being able to name exactly what it is. That's a valid starting point.
Is this therapy or coaching?
Therapy. I'm a regulated psychotherapist (CRPO — Ontario) and a certified sexologist (OPSQ — Quebec). Sessions are clinical, structured, and evidence-informed.
Is this covered by insurance?
Many extended health plans cover psychotherapy with a regulated provider. I provide receipts for insurance purposes.
How long does therapy usually take?
It depends on what you're working on. After the first few sessions, I'll give you an honest picture of what I think is realistic.
I'm already in a relationship — can I still come alone?
Yes. What you understand about your own part in a dynamic almost always changes the dynamic, even without both partners in the room.
